I’ve been paying attention to people for as long as I can remember.
Long before I understood psychology, nervous systems, or behavioural patterns, I was watching.
I grew up around domestic violence and uncertainty, which meant noticing people wasn’t a hobby, it was a survival strategy.
I learned to track the slight shifts in a room's atmosphere. I noted the changes in mood, what was said, and what was left unspoken. I knew exactly when it was safe to speak up, and when it was better to stay quiet. I became masterful at reading what was happening around me. But understanding what was happening inside me? That took considerably longer.
As an adult, my curiosity about human behaviour never faded. I spent over thirty years working directly in care, mental health, social-emotional support, and Autism advocacy. Driven to understand the human system at its deepest levels, I studied everything I could get my hands on:
• Childhood Development & Emotional Intelligence
• Psychology & Life Story Work
• Somatic Tracking & Energy Work
• NLP, Breathwork, Reiki, and EFT/TFT
Yet, despite having a huge toolbox and doing massive amounts of inner work, my old patterns still kept showing up.
I was stuck in a loop that might feel familiar to you:
• I could know exactly why I was doing something, but have zero control over it in the moment.
• I wanted to speak boldly about my business, but found myself deafened by my own silence.
• I told myself I didn’t need approval, yet I was still entirely reliant on it.
No matter what I did, I kept finding myself standing in the exact same bloody place.
All the knowledge and self-awareness in the world wasn’t bridging the gap. So, I stopped trying to fix the patterns and became curious about the gap itself.
That’s when things got interesting.
I started leaning into the things I had spent years dismissing as silly, childish, or immature: imagination, play, creativity, and fun.
Without forcing anything, something shifted. By trusting my intuition and following where it led, imagination became symbolism, and symbolism became story.
I finally began decoding the hidden, unconscious meanings I had assigned to the world around me.
I hadn’t set out to create a coaching method. I just found a way to go deeper within myself without constantly fighting to get there.
When I brought this world-building, play, and somatic storytelling to other highly sensitive women, the results were instant. Instead of circling the same problems for weeks, they finally started moving forward.
The Inner Kingdom Mythodology™ grew from there.
Hayley validated me. I feel more accepting of frustration with myself. I now know how to listen to my body instead of letting the brain rule.

Wondering if working together might be the right step for your next chapter?
Let's have a conversation about where you are, where you want to go and whether working together feels like the right fit.
At Duality and the Space Between, the more woo, the merrier. Magic, symbols, and ritual are woven into the fabric of my everyday life.
But if that’s not your thing? That’s entirely okay too.
The Inner Kingdom Mythodology™ brings together imagination, story, symbolism, and embodied practices. We work with what something means to you, without either of us needing to decide that it has to mean the exact same thing to everybody else.
If spirituality is a part of your world, there is a comfortable seat at the table for it here. If it isn't, there is just as much room for your logic and lived experience.
I use tools like Tarot imagery, archetypes, and numerology to bypass the logical mind and talk directly to your unconscious, not to predict your future.
They provide the characters, mirrors, and landscapes we need to decode the hidden rules your nervous system is running on.
I also look deeply at the energetics of language.
Just like a specific gesture, a tone of voice, or a type of clothing from an authority figure can trigger a somatic response in your body, words do the exact same thing.
Sometimes, a word you use every day to describe your level of comfort, like the word safe -for example, might actually be holding an energetic frequency that keeps you trapped in your own mind.
We don't just look at what your words mean on paper; we track how they land in your body.
I believe the magic is already within you.
The "spells" are simply in how you speak to yourself.
Your rituals are already woven through your ordinary life, from hitting the snooze button three times before getting up, to the familiar, unconscious routine you follow before bed.
You don’t need to share my exact beliefs for us to change your life. You only need to be curious enough to question yours.
The Inner Kingdom Mythodology™ is not connected to any religion or doctrine. It is a symbolic framework, and you don’t need to hold any particular beliefs to explore it.
When I'm not working, I'm happiest at home with my family and our assorted animals. I'm a mum of three and nannie, which is one of my favourite roles.
You may often find me writing, having a sing-a-long in the car, dancing around the kitchen or disappearing into the woods.
I love wildflowers, sunshine, moonlight, mountains and trees. Ancient mysteries, magic and conversations that dive deep into rabbit holes.
I'm endlessly curious and usually studying something.
I've also been known to pull a tarot card or two just to confirm what I already bloody suspected.
I firmly believe spirituality can have substance.
Science doesn't have to be dry.
And...
Serious work can still leave plenty of room for imagination, magic, play and laughter.
