Step inside your Inner Kingdom

A hidden world of magic and mystery, where old stories are relived, forgotten rules are faithfully followed, Guardians protect and serve, and scattered embers are waiting to be returned to the flame.

Nothing here is random.

Everything is in relationship.

Image of a woman inside her hidden inner world- The Inner Kingdom

Every body holds an Inner Kingdom

Just most of the time, we're far too busy living our lives to notice what's happening inside it.

So take a breath.

Let it fall a little lower than usual. Past the chatter. Past the noise, into the quieter place you don’t visit nearly enough.

Something may already be there

An image.

Or colours.

A warmth settling somewhere behind your ribs.

Maybe you hear a river before you see one.

Perhaps there is nothing but a quiet knowing that arrives without explanation of where the hell it came from.

However you see it or feel it, follow it.

This is where your Inner Kingdom begins.

A symbolic inner world built around the body, chakras and energy. Shaped by your stories, experiences, relationships, meanings and all the things you've learnt about who you are and how life works.

There are mountains and forests. Libraries and villages. Caves, gardens, valleys and rivers.

  • In the Cave of Echoes your voice reverberates around the crystal walls, yet somehow never makes it out.
  • While deep down in the valley, the once stable ground has turned to marsh. Old projects, plans and ideas left half-finished as they slowly crumble and sink into the earth.
  • Through the centre of the Kingdom runs the bright golden river, cascading down from a reservoir, as it ebbs and flows through the mysterious landscape.
  • Forbidden Embers lie scattered throughout the realms, Pieces of the Flame that still burn bright. They're safe, They're protected. but they're waiting to be reclaimed.

Nothing here is random.

Each part has a story to tell.

Steady at the centre is your unwavering Flame.

The part of you that knows what matters to you. What you need. What you want. What feels like yours.

The Flame's always been there.

The tricky bit is feeling or hearing its call when you can feel everything else around you too.

Because your Flame isn't the only thing calling for your attention.

Your old stories have something to say, and many of them have been listened to for years..

The Stories Held Within

Inside your Kingdom, stories don’t sit unread on the Library shelves.

Each story has meaning that influences what you think, feel and do.

Some are old tales passed down through generations.

Others are diary entries written by your own pen.

Some began with something someone said.

While others with something that happened. Meaning given to experiences before you had the words to question them.

All the times you had to be quiet.

The times you felt unseen.

The times you were told to stop showing off, or not to answer back.

Story by story, meanings were made and rules were written, about who you should be and what you should do to stay safe, significant and loved.

……………………………………….

Meanwhile ,somewhere beyond the Kingdom, is the life you’ve been trying to reach.

But inside the Kingdom, alarm bells are ringing...

and a Guardian raises her head.

Softening resistance through story and symbolism

You don't need to be able to visualise to explore your Inner Kingdom.

Imagination has more than one doorway.

Studies have found that narrative imagery engages areas of the brain involved in emotion, memory and creating personally meaningful experiences. Emotional stories recruit these systems particularly strongly, helping us imagine events that may be relevant to how we respond and act in real life. (Sambuco, Bradley & Lang, 2022)

Carl Jung famously wrote about archetypes. Recognisable symbolic characters and patterns that appear across stories, cultures and our inner lives.

More recent research offers a cognitive explanation for why these characters can feel so familiar, suggesting that archetypal patterns emerge through the relationship between motivation, perception, memory, learning and lived experience.

This may help explain why we can meet a character such as the Lantern Bearer or the Sentinel and feel an immediate sense of recognition, as though we already know her, because in some way, we do. (Becker & Neuberg, 2019)

The best part (especially for me) is that you do not have to form clear mental pictures to enter a story. Research involving people with aphantasia found that although visual imagery influenced emotional immersion, participants could still follow and understand the story, with many appearing to draw upon spatial, bodily or other sensory forms of imagination instead. (Abdelrahman, Melcher & Ripollés, 2025)

This is why the Inner Kingdom can be seen, heard, sensed, felt or simply known.

Your Inner Kingdom doesn't have to look like mine. I may give you the map. Introduce you to the Guardians. Tell you stories from the Kingdom.

But what happens when you enter it belongs to you.

You don't have to be able to visualise any of it. Story allows the imagination to flow how yours flows best. Sometimes our own stories can be difficult or overwhelming. In these instances, the Kingdom is yours to use to tell the story through the lens of  What happened in the Kingdom?

From there, we can become curious about what your story is showing us.

The story brings the hidden pattern into the light.

Your symbolism gives it a meaning.

Once you can meet the story you are living, you can begin to discover the rules it carries, the needs it protects and the different choices waiting in the space between. Including the ones that might take you somewhere you haven't been before.

Knowing is where remembering begins.

Embodiment is where transformation begins.

Decoding the Hidden Language Stealing your Power

Every time you ask yourself "Why can't I just do the thing?" you aren't facing a lack of discipline. You're looking at a conflict between need and desire.

Between the woman you're becoming and the old protective patterns that kept you safe, significant and accepted, lies a hidden script. The truth is, your highly sensitive system doesn't need to be 'fixed', it needs to be decoded.

In my work we don't fight your patterns or force one side of your personality to win.

Instead, we stop bypassing the heavy stuff and take a look at what's happening below the surface using:

  • Somatic Symbolism and Story: Moving away from heavy, logical overthinking and using archetypes and tarot to build somatic stories that help bypass the analytical brain, lower resistance to change and reduce shame. We look at your patterns as characters, notice the symbols and what your subconscious has made them mean which now provide the stories and rules you live your life by.
  • The Energetics of Language: Untangling the specific words you speak and think, which act as invisible barriers to the outward change you're looking for.
  • Decoding the Numbers: Mapping the energetic patterns of your life to calculate the numbers behind the words you use to reveal the hidden structures keeping you stuck.
  • Imagination, Movement and Play: Looking into these shadowed parts doesn't have to be heavy. I believe remembering and returning to who you really are can be fun too.
